And remember, if opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.
Shawn grew up in a small rural community outside of Danville, Virginia but also spent much of his time on Buggs Island Lake. Which is why he is so happy to be living 25 minutes from it now with his fiancé, Crystal and their 5 children.
Shawn lives and breathes the outdoor lifestyle. His passion for land management and hunting began at a young age, learning what it takes to harvest deer and how to preserve the land they live on. Shawn started Dixie Outdoors Archery in 2009 which linked him to hundreds of hunters and landowners with the same passion.
Shawn has not only had the privilege of hunting on some of the top farms in southside Virginia, but has also been involved in scoping out and finding others prime hunting leases. Shawn has the knowledge to see the potential in a property and the skills to bring that vision to life. He definitely enjoys the land management aspect as much as he enjoys hunting.
If you are interested in hunting property, off grid property, timberland, farms or lakefront homes, Shawn can’t wait to help you find the property of your dreams.

While attending RMC in Ashland, VA., I worked for Hometown Realty, one of the top independent real estate firms in the country. I have worked in several areas of real estate including accounting, office administration, recruitment, and I have recently become a licensed agent. My husband, Mark, and I live on a farm outside of South Hill. We raise tobacco, soy beans, and cattle. We are blessed with 3 children, two fine farm boys and one sassy princess. Our family enjoys time on the lake, spending time on the farm, and enjoying the Southern Virginia lifestyle. I am genuine and friendly, and I am excited to assist you in your real estate needs!
Hey there! I am so glad you’ve come to my site. I am a mom of three girls & have a woodworking hobby with my talented husband that allows me to express my creativity on the side. I am originally from Chesterfield, Virginia but now reside in Virginia’s only lakeside town, Clarksville, VA. I have always had a keen interest in real estate. My original plan was to major in Interior Design in college. Through my general education courses, I also discovered I was much more into numbers than architectural drawing & I graduated with a Business Administration Degree in Finance from Radford University in 2008. I have held several jobs ranging from auditor to operations analyst to credit analyst for a bank and most recently as a marketing specialist for United Country Virginia Realty since 2019.
Real estate is a powerful thing. Where you live becomes the center of your world: your “safe haven” and place where memories are made. I believe finding the right agent is just as important as finding the right property. As a trusted real estate agent, my business is built on communication, dedication, and transparency. I understand that selling and/or buying a home is complex and deeply personal. I know there is a lot at stake financially and personally & that perspective on the process drives me to be an expert at this profession. I want to ensure you feel supported & can trust my expertise.
As a seller, you want to effectively market the home & negotiate to secure the best possible price. As a buyer, you want a patient yet assertive partner to help you buy the right home for you at the best possible price. This is where I step in. My reputation amongst my peers is a well-respected industry innovator with expertise in social media & marketing. I am always working hard to stay ahead of the curve by combining luxury styling with technology & forward thinking. I would love the opportunity to work with you!
